Nicholas Lalla

Nicholas Lalla is an urban strategist dedicated to building smart, resilient, and innovative cities through data-driven solutions and public–private partnerships. As an assistant vice president at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, Nicholas serves as project lead for Cyber NYC, a $100 million investment to grow New York’s cybersecurity ecosystem. Previously, Nicholas was a consultant at Deloitte, where his clients spanned sectors and included Alphabet’s Sidewalk Labs, the U.S. Department of Transportation, and a Rolls-Royce-backed tech incubator. Nicholas completed his bachelor’s from Northwestern and a master’s in African American Studies from Cornell, where he researched post-Katrina New Orleans.
