Ryan Whelan is a senior leader in cyber and risk intelligence from across the military, government, and commercial sectors. Ryan began in cyber threat intelligence working for the United States’ Department of Defense, including helping to counter-insider threats following the Bradley Manning case. Later, as a strategy consultant with PwC, Ryan identified and evaluated cyber threats to industry, advising executive leaders on the best methods to mitigate risk and defense against advanced persistent threat (APT) actors. Ryan joined FireEye in August 2018 to focus on building strategic growth initiatives for FireEye Threat Intelligence.
