SECRETS OF UNIT 8200

Unit 8200 is a globally recognized Israeli Intelligence Corps unit that is responsible for collecting signal intelligence (SIGINT) and code decryption. Surprisingly, the unit is comprised of soldiers ranging between 18 and 21 years old who are primarily chosen for their ability to teach themselves and to learn very quickly.

After completing their military service, former Unit 8200 soldiers have gone on to founding Startups and fulfilling top positions in many international IT companies in Israel, Silicon Valley, and around the world.

This session will discuss the secrets behind a successful unit—and the impact the military service has on the cyber and technology ecosystem in Israel.
